The Community Resource Centre has become a Live & Local Promoter. We have hosted two very successful events this year and look forward to next season, our first Live&Local will be:-

Community Art Project

Funded by an "Awards for All" Lottery Grant

The Communty Art Project has been designed to give local people the opportunity to contribute to a piece of art work for the new Community Centre Courtyard and to learn new skills.

The project has involved over 400 local people in a number of workshops over the past few months. This project is now comming to an end but we are looking into the posibility of creating a permenent peice of art work for the centre and look forward to working with local community groups on this project.

A group of people from Parkwood Day Centre created a statue for the Courtyard.

YOGA CLASSES

A yoga class will be held in the Community Resource Centre on Wednesday Evenings from 27th June to 29th August. For more details please ring 01246 856451.

YOUTH CLUB

Derbyshire County Council Youth Service run 2 Youth Club sessions in the Community Resource Centre each week, during term time only.

Tuesday 7pm - 9pm - Seniors - 14 - 19 year old

Thursday 7pm - 9pm - Inters - 12 - 14 year old
