The Parish Council is made up of 10 Parish Councillors who are elected every 4 years. The Council meets on a monthly basis to consider matters related to the parish of North Wingfield.

The Parish Council employs a part-time clerk, a part-time Responsible Finance Officer and 2 full time workmen who maintain the common land areas and buildings owned by the Parish.

Facilities provided for the community by the Parish Council include:-

A Community Resource Centre
A Skate Park
Multi-Use Games Area
3 Children's Play Areas
2 Sports pitches with changing rooms
The Evergreen Social Club
2 Youth Shelters

Parish Council Meetings take place on the second Tuesday in every month, except August, at the Community Resource Centre between 7pm - 9pm. Members of the public are welcome to observe Parish Council Meetings.

The next meeting will be held on Tuesday 9th June at 7.00pm in the Community Resource Centre.

Parish, District and County Councillors hold a Surgery at the Community Resource Centre on the First Saturday of every month between 11am - 12 midday.
