Community Allotment Project
At Alice's View
The allotments off of Alices View, which back onto the Alma Estate, were acquired by the Parish Council from British Coal back in 1990
Since then the Parish has worked with the Allotment Association to keep the allotments in use.
This proved quite difficult so in 2010 we took control of a part of the site and are in the process of establishing a ‘Community Allotment’ where community groups can get involved in using the facility. There are still several private Allotments that are rented from the Parish Council for personal use. These are usually fully booked and there is a waiting list but if you require an Allotment please contact clerk@northwingfield.org.uk to express your interest.
